Jason McDonald’s Google Ads Workbook 2021 Edition is an educational book that breaks down the major “Do’s & Don’ts” of the Google Ads platform as well as helpful tips, tricks, and resources for honing your skills. The book also comes with access to a digital workbook through the author’s site where you can put some of the ideas in the book to practice.

McDonald takes an approach to Google Ads that looks for the secret methods that Google may not want you to know about, so that your business can spend as little as possible while gaining a desired amount of traffic. The book does a great job of telling you how you can put these methods into action as well.

“Half the money spent on advertising is wasted, but no one knows which half.” Mcdonald introduces the book with this quote by John Wanamaker that really encapsulates what everybody reading is probably thinking when they get the book. In Advertising it can be extremely difficult to know which of your marketing efforts are working and which aren’t, and how to make your campaigns get you the return you want. Let’s face it, in an ever-changing market it is impossible to have a perfect advertising strategy that reaches everyone you want it to, convinces them all to convert into leads, and fits within your budget. That’s how I came across this book. When you work with Google Ads it is important to keep yourself educated on all the updated ins, outs, tips, tricks, and inner workings of the platform. I was trying to find some more information about how I could lower costs for my clients while still generating a good flow of leads coming in, and I am lucky I found this book because it had the answers to my questions and more! I give this book ★★★★★. It was engaging, educational, and actually FUN to read. I feel more confident than ever on the Google Ads platform thanks to McDonald’s Google Ads Workbook, and if I’m ever not feeling confident about something, I know I can find the answer to my questions through one of the many amazing resources provided by the author at the end of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to learn about, or know more about Google Ads – I promise you will NOT be disappointed.
